A Cloudy Spring in San Francisco

A Cloudy Spring
photos by: Molly Dohm

A recent trip down to the pier lead to a impromptu photo shoot.

Brick & Mortar

My outfit was originally intended for a mother's day wine & cheese tasting festival. During this time of the year San Francisco is in this strange transition season. It's still not spring but it surely isn't winter. I pulled together a look that would embody both spring and winter styles. The velvet turtleneck top will keep you warm and the long floral skirt adds a spring touch. I wore heeled sandals from denna &ozzy (found at urban outfitters) but for a more elegant look you can wear some ankle strap heels. To keep your toes warm, you can throw on some cute socks.

My top and skirt are from a vintage store located on Valencia street in SF called Wallflower Vintage. You can check them out at However, if your not a SF native you can find theses pieces above:

SS 15 Chanel

Enter into Karl's Magic Garden

If you read Oh How Very Peachy, you probably ready know how much I love Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld's ability to express his creativity though the Chanel  fashion shows is astonishing. he always succeeds in shocking me with his delicate beautiful designs and equally beautiful shows that come to life.

welcome to the garden...

The finale dress was more beautiful than words

the train  that took 15 girls a month to make

I am now determined to have my wedding party look like this.

.  .  .

Lagerfeld brought back some pieces from the Coco Chanel era and twisted them into a stunning new creation.

The Tweed Suit

Coco Chanel Hat

When Coco Chanel first opened her store in paris she sold beautiful new age hats that most parsons won't even think of wearing, but soon the streets were filled with her elaborate hats

Chanel's Biodome

Now I'm going to drool over the rest of what SS15 has to offer. (specially Raf Simions and the Dior show)

The Purple Sweater: Daytime

The Girl. The Purple Sweater. The Daytime.
Urban Outfitters has been killing me with their consent e-mails about 25% off sweaters (why do they do this to me they know my weakness is comfy sweaters!). I finally broke down and bought this deep purple kimchi blue sweater. And now, you will rarely find me wearing anything else.

If you look closely you can see that my bag is actually an old cannon lens bag/case I found in the thrift store which storefront parallels this art filled alley.

Sweater: Urban Outfitters
Top: Free People
Pants: Urban Outfitters

Hat (or as my boyfriend calls it, an "urban sombrero"): Target
Necklace: Forever 21
Sunnies: Antropolgie
Bag: Thrifted
Shoes: Jui Jui

San Francisco is still revealing its strange wonders to me everyday. Turn a corner and you can be enveloped into an alley of art.

Tales of San Francisco in October

Tales of San Francisco in October

As you may have noticed the blog has been lacking content and I truly apologize.

I recently began my studies at university in a new city. Sadly, blogging has taken a backseat to my studies which have become increasingly more important to me. Though things like fashion week and the latest edition of rookie mag have also become increasingly more important to me as well. However I will refuse to neglect my blog and will be bringing new fashion daydreams to Oh How Very Peachy more often starting this month.

If any of you follow me on tumblr( you may notice that I am constantly posting on there because my phone is attached to my hip 24/7 like every other technology obsessed american.

but for now...
i've been wandering around San Francisco
Dress: Brandy
 Jacket: Nordstrom
 Shoes: Deena and Ozzy
Sunglasses: thrift store find

Urban Outfitters offers a variety of brands when it comes to shoes but one of recent favorites are the Denna and Ozzy shoes. For shoes with a little bit of a heel they are extremely comfy.

My roommate, Natasha, whom took all these amazing photos.

We started a bucket list and here are a few of the things we checked off the list:

1. Hippie Tree

My roommate and I ventured over the bridge to this tree with a beautiful view of San Francisco and the golden gate bridge. And to make it even more cute it has a swing.

2. Kitchen Story in the Mission District

One of the best gluten free panini's I have ever had in my entire life. This could be completely bias though because i have been eating terrible university food for the last week so anything is better than the sandwiches in the dinning halls.

FW Fall 2014 Haute Couture - Dior

Christian Dior

So far, Dior's show has been my favorite from PWF. But considering my extreme indecisiveness I will probably have ten more favorite shows by the time I finish writing this post.

This latest Couture collection for Dior was designed by the iconic Raf Simons, Dior's most recent creative director. The show was an eight part fashion masterpiece. Simons seemed to change centuries every few designs; "from the Marie Antoinette-inspired pannier silhouettes to astronauts' jumpsuits, back to embroidered court jackets and forward again to twenties volumes."

Silently praying that 18th century gloves are making a comeback because these are stunning.

......and the shoes!!!
If I could I would own them in every color possible.

The finale dress reminded me of the gowns in Sofia Coppola's film Marie Antoinette.

new goal in life: wear this dress to a ball.
