 The American Music Awards. 

 Music is something i adore and has had a huge impact on my life. Not as mush as fashion but still a pretty big impact. I fell in love with all the marvelous gowns and suits from last nights ama's. With winter formals and parties coming up for the holiday season take cues from the stars for your next party outfit.

Now i wouldn't suggest wearing Miley's outfit to a nice party or dance, but I love it for a music performance! You can take inspiration from Miley's outfit, for example her super cool clear earrings and bracelets. They are a prefect unique accessory to any look.

My love, imagine dragons, looked like the great indie rock band they are. 

And of course the British boys of one direction looked handsome like always. Dont you wish every guy dressed like them and talked in a charming accent?!

Lately....

Lately...

I have been absolutely crazy busy with everything from trying to get college apps done, to working on designs for an upcoming fashion show, to five hour long photo shoots. So I thought I might update you on the life of a fashion obsessed 17 year old who is completely scatterbrained and maybe a tab bit insane at the moment. 

The Models

From our recent photo shoot for the winter "14 fashion show upcoming in January. Can you spot me in the white girly socks?

Our Winter show this year is called Lumiere

Sketching to avoid actually doing any schoolwork, oh and of course eating macarons. 

Wondering if my my friends and I are students or an indie band. 

But even though November is a stressful month, chai tea and comfy sweaters will get me through anything.

November is here and sweaters are an obsession (i may have bought three in the past week already) But since it isn't super cold and chilly here in California try pairing a huge over sized sweater with a simple black skirt or dress underneath. For the colder months throw on some knee high socks or tights.

Coming Home

Last Homecoming 

Some of the most lovely people I have ever know dressed up for our last senior homecoming the other evening.

Her dress was originally a Fredrick's dress she found in a local vintage shop, and with a little sewing and re-designing by myself it was turned into this wonderful velvet dress. Her shoes are a true masterpiece. Ryan hand painted them galaxy print and I'm literally head over heels obsessed with them. **cough cough Ryan i want some cough cough**

You don't always have to buy a super expensive dress and shoes for homecoming. With a little work you can turn cheap vintage clothing into one of a kind pieces. Plus you don't have to worry about someone having the same dress as you!
